  1. Please perform the migration procedure between the time the next version of Keio mail service begins and the current email system ends.
    * (Carry out the migration procedure between November 11, 2014 and March 2, 2015. From March 3, 2015, you will be unable to use the current system and no longer able to perform the migration procedure.)
    1. We recommend that you perform the migration procedure as early as possible.
(The later the migration procedure is performed, the larger the quantity of information that will migrate, possibly increasing the number of migration procedure steps and time. The following are the major contents that will expand.)
      1. Email received between about September until performance of the migration procedure will not be sorted into folders by the new system.
… You will have to sort email on the new system yourself, but the later the migration period, the larger the quantity of email to be sorted.
      2. Read and unread information on the current system will not be reflected in the new system between about September until performance of the migration procedure.
… If you want to also reflect read and unread information in the new system, you will have to perform the migration procedure yourself on the new system, but it is possible that the later the migration period, the larger the number of necessary migration procedure steps.

About data migration

  1. Existing mail or folders on the server
    1. These will migrate automatically to the new system. Email will not be lost.
    2. But the migration, read/unread state, or sorting to folders of high volume mail or email with attached files may not be reflected. In such cases, users will have to perform the migration procedures themselves.
  1. Various setting information on the server
    1. Various setting information* will not automatically migrate to the new system, so the users will have to perform the migration procedures themselves.
*: Various setting information includes individual environment and information settings, email transfer settings, message rejection settings, automatic email sorting settings, and POP3 settings on the old system.
  1. Address books, calendars, and Web file information on the server
    1. Because it will not automatically migrate to the new system, the users will have to perform the migration procedures themselves.
