Using iOS 7.8

Introduction

The following explanation is for users of iOS 7.8 email software. Confirm the ID and password required for the setting, confirm the protocol you are now using, and advance to setting POP3 or IMAP4.
Please perform all the following procedures.

Procedure 1: Confirming your ID and password to set up email software

Confirming the Keio Apps ID

  1. Log into keio.jp.
  2. When you log in, the ID name attached to "@keio.jp" will be displayed above Application, Information.
    This ID will be "Keio Apps ID".Make a note of this ID name. You will use it in subsequent procedures.
  3. You can confirm this even after the new system (Gmail) starts.
    Click "Application" then the New Keio Mail menu.
    The ID name with "@keio.jp" attached displayed at the right end of the screen that started will be your "Keio Apps ID".
    Make a note of this ID name.

Confirming your password

  1. Click "Change passwords" from the menu in the top right.
  2. Click "Email software/smartphone app".
  3. Selecting "Display password for email software /smartphone app" displays a password.
    This password is your password for the email software.Make a note of this password. You will use it in subsequent procedures.

Procedure 2: Confirming the iOS 7.8 send-receive protocol

  1. Power on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. "Settings" icon → "Mail/Contacts/Calendar".
  3. Tap the Account that has already been set up.
  4. Confirm the reception protocol listed in the account information.

Procedure 3: Setting up in the iOS 7.8 email software

Set up in the email software.

  1. When the protocol in Procedure 2 is "IMAP account information"
    - Advance to the iOS 7.8 IMAP4 setup example.
  2. When the protocol in Procedure 2 is "POP account information"
    - Advance to the iOS 7.8 POP setup example.
