1-1. Organizing sent emails.

Introduction

Emails sent via the current system (DEEPMail) between September and the present will also be sent to Gmail.
(In the new system (Gmail), they go in both the Inbox and Sent Mail.
Of these, even emails which do not contain your email address in their address will be
moved to the Inbox rather than Sent Mail in the new system (Gmail).

To prevent emails which do not include your own email address in their address from showing in the Inbox, follow the steps below.

If you need to carry out these steps, move on to "1-2. Reflect the sorting, read, and unread statuses of emails to the new system".

Creation steps

Method for preventing emails not addressed to you from showing in your Inbox

Search for sent emails using the following conditions as examples.

(Example) If your email address is "keio-taro@a2.keio.jp":
・Target: Inbox
・Sender (From): Include "keio-taro@a2.keio.jp"
・To (To, cc): Do not include "keio-taro@a2.keio.jp"

●Search conditions(Enter your own Keio mail address in the red areas.)

in:inbox -{to:keio-taro@a2.keio.jp cc:keio-taro@a2.keio.jp} from:keio-taro@a2.keio.jp
  1. Reference: In the search conditions, it searches emails where the "To" or "cc" are not your own Keio ID address, and also where your own Keio ID is the From.
The "-" mark is used to exclude from the conditions, and the conditions set off by spaces bookended by "{ }" are the OR conditions. In addition, the conditions set off by spaces with no braces are the AND conditions.
  1. Enter the above search conditions in the search bar and click "Show search options" to display the filters screen. Check that search conditions entered in the search bar are shown in "Has the words", and then click "Create a filter with these search conditions"

  2. When then "Confirm filter creation" screen is displayed, click "OK".

  3. Insert checks into "Skip Inbox (Archive)" and "Apply filter to matching threads as well" and click "Create a filter".

This completes "1-1. Organizing sent emails".
To continue, move on to "1-2. Reflect the sorting, read, and unread statuses of emails to the new system".
