Changes on DNS server (ns0.sfc.keio.ac.jp) (June 2)


To enhance security, we will change the DNS servers.


Date: 10:00am June 2, 2014
Title:Discontinue of DNS recursive answer on ns0.sfc.keio.ac.jp (v4: 133.27.4.121, v6: 2001:200:1c0:1100::121)
Effect: Fail of DNS name resolving, if the computer refers ns0.sfc.keio.ac.jp (v4: 133.27.4.121, v6: 2001:200:1c0:1100::121) as DNS server.
Action
Please use following servers as DNS resolver.
dnscache1.sfc.keio.ac.jp (v4: 133.27.4.20, v6: 2001:200:1c0:1100::20)
dnscache2.sfc.keio.ac.jp (v4: 133.27.4.30, v6: 2001:200:1c0:1100::30)
Note
ns0.sfc.keio.ac.jp will still work as authoritative name server for keio.ac.jp and its subdomains.No effects on DNS secondary service for keio.ac.jp subdomains.
The users who use Wireless LAN service or wired LAN service with auto configuration (DHCP), this changes will be automatically applied to the client. There's no users action about this issue.
