Mac

Where should I put movie files at video production.

Save and edit your files in the home directory of Mac environment. It is 4TB and can be accessed at high speed.

However, please delete it as soon as you finish your editing work, as it is shared with other users.

After you finish your work, please be sure to back up your work by copying it to "CNS home directory", "your own external HDD/SSD", or "online storage", etc.

The procedure to add and remove Add-on for Firefox

Install Add-on

1. Click "Tools" => "Add-ons" on the Menu bar.
2. Search Add-on which you want and click Install. The download will be started.
3. Click "Restart now"
4. Please confirm Add-on has been installed on the "Tools" => "Add-ons" => "My Add-ons"

Remove Add-on

1. Click "Remove" button on the "My Add-ons" view.
2. Search Add-on which you want and click Install. The download will be started.
3. Click "Restart now"
4. Please confirm Add-on has been removed on the "Tools" => "Add-ons" => "My Add-ons"

An administrator password is required to create/copy files to an external hard disk drive.

Choose the one from two alternatives below.

1. Connect the external hard disk to your PC, and open a terminal.app, and then type "chmod o+x /Volumes/{A name of an external hard disk}".
2. Use an external hard disk which is formatted to exFAT file format.

There is nothing.

• Maybe you lost CNS configuration file. Please execute the following procedure.

  cd [ENTER]
  > echo "source /usr/local/lib/setup/.cshrc" > .cshrc [ENTER]
  > source .cshrc
  %
  

  This problem is solved when "%" appear.
