Replacement of CNS IMAP mail server (for incoming mail) (March 22)

March 22th, 2022
To Users of SFC-CNS
Shonan Fujisawa ITC
Replacement of CNS IMAP mail server (for incoming mail) (March 22)

The CNS IMAP mail server (for incoming mail) will be replaced due to the OS update. The service will not be stopped, but it may take some time to receive emails.

With the replacement, TLSv1.0 and TLSv1.1, which have been reported to be vulnerable, will be disabled among the encryption methods used in IMAPS (IMAP over SSL/TLS) for receiving mail.

If you are using email software that does not support TLSv1.2 and above, you will not be able to receive email from IMAP servers after the replacement.

In many cases, the support period for the OS or mail software has passed, so please make sure to use the latest OS or mail software.

If you are using IMAPS with TLSv1.0 or TLSv1.1, you will be contacted by e-mail individually.
