Reorganizing of CNS Network Filtering Introduction for Network of Graduate School and Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care

Overview

As a countermeasure against the recent intensification of cyber-attacks, ITC set up filtering on parts of network (NW) of PM, EI area in August 2022. Please refer to the followings for target NW and filtering settings
CNS network restructuring (filtering introduced) * keio.jp authentication required

As scheduled, for the NWs of the graduate school building and faculty of nursing and medical care school building it will be carried out on 16th August (GS building) and 21st August (NM building)
Currently in the graduate school building, two NWs exist, one with filtering and one without filtering, therefore filtering setting for the NW with filtering will be changed to CNS-BLUE and the NW without filtering will be set as CNS-RED.

Schedule

NW of Graduate school building

• On Wednesday, 16th August, 2023,filtering settings of the target network will be changed (to CNS-BLUE).
• Transition period to CNS-RED will be until August 8, 2023 (Tuesday).
• The transition to CNS-RED will be still possible after the 8th, but might be affected by changes of filtering settings

NW of Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building

• On Wednesday, 16ht August, 2023, filtering settings of the target network will be changed (to CNS-BLUE).
• Transition period to CNS-RED will be until August 18, 2023 (Friday).
• The transition to CNS-RED will be still possible after the 18th, but might be affected by filtering settings
