Account Changes for Campus Shared Computers and Information on the New Computing Environment

Starting from Academic Year 2026, the login method and computing environment for Campus Shared Computers installed at Shonan Fujisawa Campus (including the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building) will change. All users are requested to review the following information.

Target PCs

　Campus Shared Computers at Shonan Fujisawa Campus and the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building (PC Room, Media Center PC areas, etc.)
*The disabling of MFA for keio.jp and the changes to Adobe accounts apply to both Windows and Mac environments. All other changes apply only to the Windows environment.

Effective Date

Starting sequentially from late March 2026

1. Changes to PC Login Method (Windows Only)

• Login with Keio ID (keio.jp)
  • Please use your Keio ID (ID and Password) to log in.
  • Use only your ID and password for login (Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is not used for this login).
  • You will no longer be able to log in using your previous CNS account.

*For Mac environments, please continue to use your CNS account to log in as before.

2. Disabling of MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) for keio.jp

On Campus Shared Computers (both Windows and Mac), MFA for keio.jp is disabled.

• Even if you have enabled passwordless authentication with MFA, you must enter your "ID and Password" for keio.jp authentication on Campus Shared Computers.
• If you have forgotten your password, please visit the Information Technology Center counter.

3. Changes to Adobe Accounts

The account used for Adobe products will be changed to your Keio ID as follows. This change applies to both Mac and Windows environments.

• Old: [username]@adobe.sfc.keio.ac.jp
• New: [username]@keio.jp (Keio ID)

4. CNS Print System (Windows Only)

Printing in the new environment will be available via Web Print only.
A shortcut to the "Web Print Site" is available on the desktop. Please access the site from there when you need to print.

5. Individual Software Settings (Windows Only)

In the new environment, any software customizations or settings you make will not be carried over to other PCs.

• You will need to reconfigure your settings on each PC you log into. Please be aware that your settings will need to be redone if you move to a different terminal.

6. Data Storage and File Migration (Windows Only)

Using OneDrive for Data Continuity

If you wish to continue using files created on a Campus Shared Computer on another terminal, please save your data to OneDrive.
The location of the OneDrive folder is as follows:

• Folder Location (Path):
  C:\Users[username]\OneDrive - keio.jp
• Display in File Explorer:
  "[username]@keio.jp - keio.jp"

Data Transfer from the Previous Shared Drive (Z:)

If you need data that was stored on the previous shared drive (Z:) in the new environment, please use WinSCP to perform the file transfer.

• Data previously used on CNS Windows terminals is stored under the "11DataCNS" folder within your home directory.
