Account Changes for Campus Shared Computers and Information on the New Computing Environment

The login method and computing environment for Campus Shared Computers (Mac) installed at Shonan Fujisawa Campus (including Graduate School Building Loft, Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building) will change. All users are requested to review the following information.

Target Shared Macs

Shonan Fujisawa Campus, Graduate School Building Loft, Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building
*Excluding Keio Shonan Fujisawa Junior and Senior High School

Effective Date

Starting sequentially from mid-September 2026

1. Changes to Shared Mac Login Method

• Login with Keio ID (keio.jp)
  • When logging in, please use your Keio ID (ID and password) (Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is not used).
  • You will no longer be able to log in using your previous CNS account.
  • The following individuals must submit a separate application to register for Shared Mac login using their Keio ID
    (Please apply at the nearest KIC office on campus. Applications must be submitted annually.):
    • Staff
    • Full-time faculty members at affiliated schools (excluding Keio Yochisha Elementary School and Keio Yokohama Elementary School) / Part-time faculty members at affiliated schools (excluding Shonan Fujisawa Junior and Senior High School, Keio Yochisha Elementary School, and Keio Yokohama Elementary School)
    • Professors Emeritus, Joint Researchers

2. Access to SFC-CNS Home Directory

Direct access to the SFC-CNS home directory (/home/[username]) from Shared Macs will no longer be available.

• As an alternative, please use file transfer software (e.g., Cyberduck) to log in to ccx03 to download or upload files.
• Alternatively, please save or download files using a cloud service (e.g., Google Drive).

3. Access to SFC-CNS Shared Work Area

Direct access to the SFC-CNS shared work area (with Web publishing: /pub/WWW, without Web publishing: /pub/sfc) from Shared Macs will no longer be available.

• As an alternative, please use file transfer software (e.g., Cyberduck) to log in to ccx03 to download or upload files.
• Alternatively, please save or download files using a cloud service (e.g., Google Drive).

4. CNS Print System

Authentication for printing requires your CNS account.
