The following is a setup example for Microsoft Outlook (new) on Windows.
How to Check Your Outlook Version
- Launch Outlook(new).

If the "New Outlook" toggle switch in the top right corner of the screen is turned on, you are using Outlook(new).
SPAM Filtering Setup Example
- Launch Outlook(new).

Right-click [Inbox].

Select [Create new subfolder] from the displayed menu.

An input field will appear; enter [SPAM].

Confirm that a folder named [SPAM] has been created.

Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.

The [Settings] window will open. Click [Mail] > [Rules] > [Add new rule] in that order.

The settings window will open. Enter "SPAM" in the "Name your rule" field, configure the following settings, and click [Save].

- X-Ironport
- SPAM

"Add an action" section
- Move to
- Select the "SPAM" folder you created earlier

You will return to the [Settings] window; confirm that the [SPAM] rule has been added.
