Termination of SFC-CNS Email Service for New Students

　SFC-CNS has been providing an email service (SFC-CNS Mail) along with the issuance of CNS accounts. However, since the academic affairs web system was unified under "K-Support" in March 2023, requiring the use of keio.jp accounts (Keio ID), student usage of SFC-CNS Mail has declined.
　Therefore、student email services will be limited to Keio Mail via keio.jp, and the provision of SFC-CNS Mail for students will be gradually discontinued.
　As the first step、SFC-CNS Mail will no longer be provided to new undergraduate students starting in April 2025.Please refer to the details below regarding affected individuals and other relevant information.
　Although the email service will be discontinued, CNS accounts will continue to be issued.

Affected Individuals*

New students enrolling in April 2025 or later in the Faculty of Policy Management, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care

（Includes second-year and third-year transfer students, bachelor's degree transfer students, and second-year bachelor's degree transfer students）

*New students in the Graduate School of Media and Governance and the Graduate School of Health Management are not affected

Required Actions

For Students

・Please use Keio Mail when contacting affected individuals

・Since SFC-CNS Mail will be discontinued for all students (including graduate students) in the future, please gradually transition to Keio Mail

・If you are using your SFC-CNS email address for external services (such as SaaS or subscriptions) as an ID or contact, please proceed with updating it accordingly

For Faculty and Staff

・Please use Keio Mail when contacting affected individuals

・Since SFC-CNS Mail will be discontinued for all students (including graduate students) in the future, please also gradually transition communication for other students to Keio Mail

Additional Note: SFC-CNS Sub-Account Email Service

・The email service (including forwarding to Keio Mail, etc.) for SFC-CNS sub-accounts issued to students from other campuses will also be gradually discontinued

・Affected individuals include students (including current students) who newly register for an SFC-CNS sub-account from April 2025 onward
