Using the Education Support System and Applying for a Local Account Q&A
Answers to questions about using the "Class Support" and applying for a local account are provided below.
- How do I apply for a local account?
- Can I allow a student that has not registered for the class to use this system?
1. How do I apply for a local account?
In general, only students that have a valid Keio ID and are properly enrolled in one of the corresponding courses can use the "Class Support". For individuals that are not qualified to have a Keio ID, as an exception, it is possible for them to use a local user account to access the "Class Support". In this case, the faculty member in charge of the class must apply for a local user account. For details, please contact us. If the application is approved and a local account is issued, you can log into the system and use its features by accessing the [Class Support Local User Login] page.
2. Can I allow a student that has not registered for the class to use this system?
If the student has a Keio ID, follow the procedures described in Registering Non-Degree Students. If you want to register a student as a non-degree student, but they are not qualified to have a Keio ID, please contact us. In addition, if you use copies of another colleague's work in your own study materials, reports, or other documents, take special care not to infringe on the copyrights. For more details, see Notes on Using the Work of Others on the "Class Support".
